Two die in Feni road accident
FENI, Aug 12, 2020 (BSS) – Two people were killed and three others injured in a road accident at Daudpur here today.
The deceased were identified as Khurshid Alam, a resident of West Rampur area and Mahbubul Haque, driver of CNG run-auto rickshaw, hailed from West Chilonia Dighi area under Sadar upazila.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Feni Model Police Station Alamgir Hossain said the accident occurred when the CNG run- auto rickshaw collided head-on with a speeding truck coming from the opposite direction on its way to the city, leaving Khurshid dead on the spot.
The police and locals rescued the injured and brought them to Feni General Hospital. Later, Mahbub was shifted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where he died in the afternoon.
