DHAKA, Aug 10, 2020 (BSS) –Noted music director, composer and lyricist Alauddin Ali will be buried at Mirpur Martyred Intellectuals Graveyard today.
Family sources said Ali’s body will be taken to his city’s Banasree residence from BIRDEM hospital. He will be kept there for some time so that his Bangladesh Television (BTV) colleagues and locals can have last glimpse of him.
Then the body will be taken to his ancestral house no. 376 in Khilgaon.
Ali’s wife Monowara Begum and his kin will have a look at him for the last time there.
The first namaj-e-janaza of Ali will be held at Khilgaon Moor-e-Bagh Jame Mosque at 1:30pm.
Later, his body will be taken to the Film Development Corporation (FDC) at Tejgaon in capital at 2:30pm. After his second namaj-e-janaza there, the body will be brought to Mirpur Martyred Intellectuals Graveyard for burial.
Ali breathed his last at 5:50 pm on Sunday at Universal Medical Hospital at Mohakhali in Dhaka.
