CONDOLENCE- BFUJ-DUJ-EMAJUDDIN
BFUJ, DUJ leaders mourn death of Prof. Emajuddin Ahmed
DHAKA, July 17, 2020 (BSS) – Leaders of Bangladesh Federal Union of
Journalists (BFUJ) and Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ) today
expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of former vice
chancellor (VC) of Dhaka University (DU) and Professor of Political
Science Emajuddin Ahmed.
In separate condolence messages, a fraction of BFUJ President Ruhul
Amin Gazi, Secretary General M Abdullah, DUJ President Kader Gani
Chowdhury and General Secretary Shahidul Islam prayed for eternal
peace of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved
family.
Prof Emajuddin Ahmed died at Labaid Specialized Hospital in city’s
Dhanmondi area today at the age of 87.
