JS body suggests technical education for underprivileged children

DHAKA, Aug 24, 2017 (BSS) – The Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Social Welfare Ministry today recommended enhancing the opportunity of technical and general education for underprivileged children to resolve their unemployment problem.

The recommendation came at a meeting of the committee at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban with the committee Chairman Md Mozammel Hossain in the chair, an official release said.

Other members of the committee Nuruzzaman Ahmed, Monoranjan Sheel Gopal, Ayesha Ferdous, Md Habibe Millat, Md Abdul Matin, Begum Lutfa Taher and Syeda Saira Mohsin attended the meeting.

The meeting discussed the latest situation of Moitree industry, manufacturing plastic products with the participation of the people with disabilities.

The committee also recommended posting efficient officers for the Social Welfare Ministry’s 36 types of innovative programmes.
