2 killed in Bogra road accident
BOGRA, June 6, 2020 (BSS) – Two people were killed as a speeding truck ran over them in Bogra Sadar Upazila early this morning.
The deceased were identified as – Delwar Hossain, 45, son of Afsar Pramanik and Dulal Miah, 45, son of Aftab Sarker of Khamarkandi area of the district.
Inspector Jamilur Rahman of Naruli Police Outpost told BSS that the accident occurred at 7:30 am when a Dhaka-bound bus ran over them after it lost control over the steering on the Matidali-Banani second bypass road. Both of them were killed on the spot.
Police rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies. Police also seized the truck.
The bodies will be handed over to the family of the victims without autopsy, said the official.
