JPC associate member Jahangir Hossain dies
DHAKA, June 6, 2020 (BSS) – Associate member of Jatiya Press Club
(JPC) and retired chief public relations officer (PRO) of undivided
Dhaka City Corporation (DCC) Jahangir Hossain died of a massive heart
attack in the city today.
He was 72, said his brother journalist Alamgir Hossain.
Jahangir left behind a son, a daughter and host relatives and
admirers to mourn his death.
He was buried at Gabtoli graveyard in the afternoon following a
namaz-e-janaza in his Gabtoli residential area.
JPC President Saiful Alam and General Secretary Farida Yeasmin
expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Jahangir.
In a condolence message, they prayed for eternal peace of the
departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
