Four people fined for public gathering in Gopalganj
GOPALGANJ, June 5, 2020 (BSS)- A mobile court here has fined the fathers of two brides, a groom and a member of the groom Taka 26,000 at Kashiani upazila of the district for disobeying the rules on gathering amid the ongoing coronavirus situation.
Kashiani Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Mobile Court Judge Sabbir Ahmed confirmed the matter to BSS today.
The persons were : Rakibul Islam of Shafolidanga village in Fukra union, Syed Enayet Ali of Majra village under Sajail union, Zobair Hossain of Ramdia village under Kashiani upazila and Enayet Hossain of Rajoir upazila under Madaripur district.
During the time, the mobile court urged them not to bring more than five people on behalf of the groom in the wedding ceremonies and signed a letter in this regard.
They were asked to maintain social distancing and follow other health directives while holding the ceremonies.
