ARREST-DRUG- RECOVERY
3 held with hemp in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, June 3, 2020 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested three alleged drug peddlers with 39 kg 500 grams of hemp from Shantimore area in Chapainawabganj municipality area this afternoon.
The arrested persons were identified as Md. Shariful Islam of Sherpur Baliadanga village under Chapainawabganj Sadar upazila, Md. Rimon Ali and Md. Roman Ali alia Stu of Koiladanga village under Shibganj upazila of the district.
RAB sources said on information, an operation team of RAB-5 from Rajshahi Mollapara camp raided the aforesaid area at 3:45 pm and arrested the trio with the hemp.
Later, the arrested persons were handed over to the police of Chapainawabganj Sadar thana and a case was filed in this connection.
