Taposh to free DSCC from corruption
DHAKA, June 2, 2020 (BSS) – Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC)
Mayor Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh said today he would free the city
corporation from all sorts of corruption.
“Tough and immediate actions will be taken against the employees and
officials if found involve in corruption and those who are indifferent
to their duties,” he told a meeting held at Nagar Bhaban this evening,
said a press release.
“I want to turn DSCC into a corruption free and proud organisation,” he said.
Councilors would be the main companions to present a beautiful and
corruption free DSCC,” he said, adding they would be involved to take
any decisions for the city corporation.
Taposh said, “We have work round the clock to obtain the status of a
developed country by 2041.”
“Corrupt officials will be fired no matter how high post they hold,”
Taposh warned.
The mayor also directed all the officials and employees of DSCC to
work with utmost honesty, dedication and with a mentality to render
service to the people.
Taposh said they will follow the law, rules and guidelines to run
the organisation effectively and hoped that all would lend their
support to this end.
