Nasim bins BNP’s allegation about containing COVID-19 ‘baseless’
DHAKA, May 5, 2020 (BSS) – Awami League (AL) Presidium Member and 14-party
alliance spokesperson Mohammed Nasim today binned BNP’s allegation about the
government’s failure to contain the coronavirus as ‘baseless’.
“The courageous role of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is being acclaimed
globally for tackling the COVID-19 situation. So BNP’s allegation about the
government’s failure containing the coronavirus is baseless, irrational and
beyond the political etiquette,” he said in a statement here today.
Where the Prime Minister is monitoring the COVID-19 situation round the
clock, the reckless and false speeches of BNP’s some irresponsible leaders,
including its secretary general, are making the people astonished, which is
beyond the political etiquette, the AL leader added.
BNP leaders should remember Sheikh Hasina’s humanity and generosity of
releasing Khaleda Zia from jail, Nasim said, adding that they have no minimum
sense of gratitude and political etiquette as their politics drowned in
inferiority.
Urging the BNP to shun the politics of falsehood, the 14-party alliance
spokesperson said, “Please help the government leaving up the falsehood.
Please give fair suggestion if you have any as it is not time to spread
falsehood”.
