12 killed, 5 injured in Ctg road accident
CHATTOGRAM, March 21, 2020 (BSS) – At least 12 passengers of a four-wheeler Leguna vehicle were killed in a collision between a Salt laden truck and a passenger carried Leguna in Chunati Forest Office area on Chattogram-Cox’s Bazar highway under Lohagara upazila of the district at 9.00 tonight.
Five critically injured were rescued and sent them to Satkhania and Lohagara upazila health complex.
All the victims included driver and helper of the Leguna, police said.
Alamgir Hossain, in-charge of Chunati police outpost, told BSS that at least 12 passengers of a four-wheeler Leguna vehicle were killed in a collision between a Chattogram-bound salt laden truck and the passenger carried Leguna, in Chunati Forest Office area, under the upazila at 9.00 tonight.
The identity of the victims and injured is yet to be ascertained, he said.
