Bangabandhu Shishu Kishor Mela distributes blankets in Rangpur
RANGPUR, Feb 3, 2020 (BSS) – The district and city units of Bangabandhu Shishu Kishor Mela (BSKM) distributed quality blankets among 500 cold-stricken poor and distressed people of all ages in the city tonight.
Leaders of Rangpur district and city units of the BSKM, Awami League (AL) and its associate bodies distributed 500 blankets among the cold-affected people in a function held on Mulatol Mandir premises in Ward No-20 in the city.
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Sonali Bank Limited (SBL) Md. Ataur Rahman Prodhan and Central Committee of Bangabandhu Shishu Kishor Mela sponsored distribution of the blankets.
President of Rangpur city BSKM Mrs. Sweety Anjum presided over the blankets distribution function moderated by its General Secretary Zinnat Hossain Lavlu.
Deputy General Managers of SBL Syed Md. Tauhidul Haque and Abdul Barek Chowdhury, its Assistant General Manager Mrs. Nasimatul Zannat, City Councilor for Ward No-20 Tauhidul Islam, Cultural Affairs Secretary of district AL Advocate Atik Ul Alam Kallol, Publicity Secretary of district Swechchasebak League Hanif Dewan, General Secretary of its district unit Mahbub Alam Khan attended the function.
