Five robbers arrested in Dhaka, N’ganj
DHAKA, Jan 25, 2020 (BSS) – Members of Detective Branch (DB) arrested five robbers conducting separate overnight drives in the city and Narayanganj and recovered arms and seven motorcycles from them.
The arrestees were: Md Sujan Sheikh, Md Mustafizur Rahman alias Manik, Md Emon, Md Liton Sardar and Md Ramzan Hossain.
DMP deputy commissioner (media and public relation) Masudur Rahman told BSS that DB members conducted separate drives last night in city’s Khilgaon area and Narayanganj city and arrested five persons of an active robber gang.
DB police also recovered seven bikes, one pistol with two rounds of ammo and two machetes, he added.
A case was filed with Khilgaon police station in this regard.
