SATKHIRA, Aug 04, 2017 (BSS) – Two persons, including a minor girl, were killed and 20 others injured when a bus crashed into a roadside shop on the Satkhira-Khulna Highway in Bhairabnagar area under Patkelghata police station in Tala upazila of the district this morning.
The deceased were identified as Gurudashi, 50, wife of Tarapodo and Acia, 9, daughter of Abdul Gaffar residents of Bhairabnagar village in Patkelghata police station.
A Satkhira-bound bus from Khulna crashed into a roadside shop in the area around 8:45am as its driver lost control over the steering, leaving two dead on the spot and 20 others injured, said Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Patkelghata police station Mahbubul Alam.
The injured were admitted to local hospitals and clinics, the OC added.
