Mariam Huda passes away
DHAKA, Jan 12, 2020 (BSS) – Begum Mariam Huda, wife of late veteran journalist and former Principal Information Officer Shams-ul-Huda, died of a heart attack at her residence in the early hours of today.
She was 78, family sources said.
She left behind one son, a daughter and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn her death.
Her first namaz-e-janaza was held at ‘New Colony Jame Masjid in city’s Asad Gate area today.
She will be buried at her Khatruria village under Domar upazila of Nilphamari district tomorrow after Zohr prayers following another namaz-e-janaza there.
