DHAKA, Jan 12, 2020 (BSS) – Swadhinata Shikshak Parishad today
congratulated the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for enlisting 2,730 non-
governments educational institutions across the country under the scheme of
Monthly Payment Order (MPO).
In a joint statement, president of Swadhinata Shikshak Parishad Dr Abdul
Mannan and general secretary Md Shahjahan Alam Saju congratulated Prime
Minister, Finance Minister, Education Minister and all authorities concerned
for bringing the institutions under MPO scheme.
With the enlistment, the Premier again proved that she is an education-
friendly Prime Minister, they said in the statement.
They also urged the government to enlist the rest of the institutions
under the scheme of MPO.
On October 3, 2019, Prime minister Sheikh Hasina at an event at her
official residence Ganabhaban announced the new list of 2,730 educational
institutions which have been under the MPO scheme.
