Bangladesh excellent place for swift investment return: Nasrul
DHAKA, Nov 15, 2019 (BSS) – State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral
Resources Nasrul Hamid today urged more investment from China in country’s
power and energy sector, saying, Bangladesh is an excellent place for making
investment return swiftly.
Nasrul said this while holding a bilateral meeting with Secretary of
Communist Party of China’s Yunnan province unit Chen Hao at a city hotel
here.
Lauding China’s assistance in developing Bangladesh’s socio-economic
status, Nasrul said Kunming, one of the cities of Yunnan, can be entry point
for both the countries and a trade hub.
He also laid emphasis on holding bilateral meetings frequently to
increase the area of cooperation.
Chinese envoy in Dhaka Li Jiming was also present at the meeting, among
others.
