College student killed in Rajshahi road accident
RAJSHAHI, Nov 11, 2019 (BBS)- A college student was killed in a road accident in Chowpukuria Telinipara area under Durgapur upazila in the district this afternoon, police and hospital sources said.
The deceased was identified as Altab Mahmud, 17, son of Nazer Ali of the nearby Kathalbaria village, succumbed to his injuries at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital around 5.30 pm.
Mahmudul Hassan, Officer-in-Charge of Durgapur Police Station, said the student met the accident when his motorbike collided head-on with a human hauler this afternoon.
Local people rushed him to the hospital.
