3 killed 6 hurt in separate incidents in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, Nov 7, 2019 (BSS) – Three persons were killed and six others
injured in separate incidents in the city and in the district today.
A Laguna micro driver Abdul Gafur was stabbed to death by some assailants
at Patiya Municipality area this morning.
Officer in Charge of Patiya Thana Borhanuddin told BSS that policemen
recovered the body of the Laguna driver Gafur with injury marks on his body.
The body was sent to Chattogram Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
Meanwhile, a pedestrian Mohammad Sumon was killed at Sonaichari under
Sitakunda upazila when a pickup van collided, head-on, with a covered van.
IN another incident, six persons inside a tea stall adjacent to the road
were injured critically when two vehicles collided on the road.
On the other hand, one steel mill worker Ripon was killed instantly by a
speedy truck at Robi gate in the city. Ripon is the worker of Baizid Steel
Mills in the city.
