Man held with huge yaba in Feni
FENI, Nov 6, 2019 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a
drive arrested a man with around 30,000 pieces of yaba tablets in the
district today.
The arrested was identified as Delwar Hossain Dulal, 40, hailed from
Gazipur district.
Assistant Police Super Md Nuruzzaman, acting commander of RAB-7, said on
information, a team of the elite force seized a covered van from Lalpol area
on the Chattogram-Dhaka highway around 11 am.
After searching the vehicle, the RAB members discovered a huge quantity of
the contraband drugs worth about Taka 1.50 crore, he added.
Later, the arrested person and the seized item were handed over to Feni
Model Thana Police.
