ANNIVERSARY-SHIB-SHANKAR
5th death anniversary of Shib Shankar Chakraborty tomorrow
DHAKA, June 1, 2018 (BSS)- The fifth death anniversary of Shib Shankar
Chakraborty, former teacher of Kargil Government High School at Sandwip in
Chittagong, will be observed tomorrow.
To mark the day, different rituals will be held at the residence of his
son Kanai Chakraborty, Deputy Chief Reporter of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha
(BSS), in Dhaka on June 13.
Apart from teaching, Shib Shankar was involved with drama, cultural
activities and sports. He served as secretary of Sandwip Kalabhaban and
Public Library for several terms.
He died on June 2, 2013 at the age of 77.
