17 police personnel awarded in Rangpur Range

RANGPUR, Oct 23, 2019 (BSS) – A total of 17 police personnel of all eight
districts under Rangpur Range of Bangladesh Police were awarded today with
medals for professional excellence in discharging duties.

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) for Rangpur Range Police Devdas Bhattacharya
distributed the awards at the monthly crime, law and order assessment meeting
for September-2019 held at his conference room in the city.

He distributed medals to further encourage and inspire the police forces in
performing their duties with utmost sincerity, dedication and professional
excellence to maintain law and order situation.

Superintendent of Police for Panchagarh Mohammad Yusuf Ali received the
award for best performance of Panchagarh District Police.

The other awarded police personnel are: ASP for Debiganj Circle of
Panchagarh District Police Ekramul Haque Sarker, Sub-Inspector (SI) Shahidur
Rahman of Syedpur Thana in Nilphamari, SI Nur Alam of Lalmonirhat Sadar
Thana, SI Feroz Hossain of Gaibandha Sadar Thana, ASI Alamgir Hossain of
Birampur Thana in Dinajpur, Traffic Inspector Zahid Sarwar of Kurigram
Traffic Unit and Zinnat Ali, officer-in-charge (OC) of Taraganj Thana in
Rangpur.

Besides, SI Mizanur Rahman of Mithapukur Thana in Rangpur, SI Moniruzzaman
of Rangpur DB police, SI Abdul Matin of Roumari Thana in Kurigram, SI Mizanur
Rahman, Constable Jyotish Kumar and Constable Imran Pathan of Lalmonirhat
Sadar Thana, Constable Nurunnabi Mian of Aditmari Thana in Lalmonirhat,
Additional Superintendent of Police (B Circle) of Gaibandha Moynul Haque and
OC of Biral Thana ATM Golam Rasul in Dinajpur district were awarded for their
professional excellent.

Additional DIG Iqbal Hossain, Superintendents of Police from Rangpur,
Panchagarh, Thakurgaon, Kurigram, Nilphamari, Lalmonirhat, Dinajpur and
Gaibandha districts and other police staff were present.
