DHAKA, July 29, 2017 (BSS) – Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq today expressed deep shock at the death of Major (retd) Ziauddin Ahmed, a sub-sector commander during Bangladesh’s Liberation War in 1971.
In a condolence message, the minister recalled Major Ziauddin’s invaluable contributions to the Liberation War.
He prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family members.
Ziauddin, who had been suffering from liver ailments, died at a Singapore hospital on Friday morning at the age of 67.
