Two held with 46.74 lakh Indian currency
DHAKA, Sept 25, 2019 (BSS) – Police today detained two men from the city’s
Fakirerpool area with 46.74 lakh Indian rupees.
The detainees are identified as Md Yakub Ali, 55, and Hasan Ahmed, 36,

Acting on a tip-off, Paltan Model Thana police arrested the duo with 46.74
lakh Indian rupees in a drive in the city’s Fokirerpool area around 3:45 pm,
he said.
During interrogation, the detainees told police that the seized rupees
have been brought from Dubai, he said, adding that legal actions will be
taken after scrutinizing the information.
