War crimes trial to be continued: Mannan
SYLHET, Aug 31, 2019 (BSS) – Planning Minister M A Mannan today said the trial of war crimes is on, will continue and will not stop.
“The trial of those culprits — Razakars, Al-Badr and Al-Shams — who worked against the homeland joining hands with Pakistani army and committed genocide in 1971 will be continued,” the minister told a discussion as chief guest here.
The meeting on ‘Sriramsi genocide day’ held at Sriramsi School and College at Jagannathpur in Sunamganj district with president of Shaheed Smrity Sangsad Nur Mohammad Juwel in the chair.
Sunamganj district Awami League Vice-President Siddique Ahmed, Police Super (SP) Mizanur Rahman, UNO Mahfuzul Alam Masum, former Chairman of Upazila Parishad Akmal Hossain and Upazila AL General Secretary Rezaul Karim Rizu, among others, spoke.
