Govt to establish unified schools for challenged children: Menon

 DHAKA, May 13, 2018 (BSS) – Social Welfare Minister Rashed Khan Menon today said the government is very much sincere to establish unified schools for the children with disabilities to make them worthy citizens of the country.

“The present government has passed two special laws to protect the rights of the people with disabilities and the work on implementation of two policies to establish schools for the children with disabilities will be completed soon,” he said, speaking at a function at Swid Bangladesh auditorium in city’s Eskaton.

The function was held to distribute allowances and stipends among children with disabilities.

Deputy Director of Dhaka Zila Social Service Abul Bashar and Swid Bangladesh Secretary General Jowaherul Islam, among others, addressed the function with Swid Bangladesh President Mohammad Moslem in the chair.
