DENGUE-PATIENTS-HOSPITALIZED
824 dengue patients hospitalized in last 24 hours
DHAKA, July 28, 2019 (BSS) – The Emergency Operations Centre and Control Room of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) informed that a total of 824 dengue patients were admitted to city’s different private and government hospitals in last 24 hours till 8.00 this morning.
Of them, 483 patients were admitted to government hospitals while 200 to private hospitals and clinics, an official release said.
A total of 141 patients were taking treatment in different hospitals outside the capital city, it added.
The total number of dengue patients now stands at 2,921 across the country.
Eight persons died so far since January 1 while 8,725 people returned home after getting treatment.
