Abu Hena works for betterment of people: Speakers
DHAKA, July 27, 2019 (BSS) – Speakers at a function today described former Chief Election Commissioner Mohammad Abu Hena as a man of integrity saying in his long checkered career he worked for the betterment of people.
They were addressing the publication ceremony of a book titled “Mohammad Abu Hena: Jibon O Kormo” at the Jute Diversification Promotion Center (JDPC) auditorium in city’s Farmgate area.
Habaspur-Bahadurpur High School Alumni Association organized the event with Dhaka International University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr KM Mohsin in the chair.
Former finance minister M Saiduzzaman was present on the occasion as the chief guest.
Advocate Khodeja Nasrin Akhtar Hossain, MP, former Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) chairman Badiuzzaman, former principal secretary Shah Mohammad Farid, former secretary and ambassador Khairul Anam and former director general of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) Dr MA Majed also spoke.
