Corruption leads society backward: ACC Secretary

 RANGPUR, April 27, 2018 (BSS) – Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Dr Md Shamsul Arefin has said corruption leads the society backward.

“All of us from our positions should prevent corruption that causes harm to the society,” Arefin said while addressing an anti-corruption affairs seminar held here on Thursday as the Keynote Discussant.

Dr Wazed Research and Training Institute (DWRTI) of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) organised the seminar at virtual class room on the campus.

Vice-chancellor of Begum Rokeya University (BRUR) Professor Dr Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah presided over the seminar.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) of Rangpur Abu Rafa Mohammad Arif, Deputy Director of the ACC’s Combined District Office at Rangpur Mohammad Mozahar Ali Sarder, its Assistant Director Atiqur Rahman, also spoke.

Professor Kalimullah, also Director of Dr Wazed Research and Training Institute (DWRTI), presided over a seminar held today on ‘Life and Deeds of Begum Rokeya’ organised by DWRTI at virtual class room of the university on the campus.

Research fellows of DWRTI, its officials, teachers and students of different departments of the university participated in the seminar.
