Communal forces hatching anti-state conspiracies: Quader
DHAKA, June 25, 2019 (BSS) – Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today said communal forces are still hatching anti-state conspiracies.
“There is no way to think that anti-liberation forces got weaken as they are still hatching anti-state conspiracies,” he said while inaugurating a cultural evening on the concluding day of three-day programme marking the AL’s 70th founding anniversary in front of the party’s central office on Bangabandhu Avenue here.
Quader said the communal forces cannot accept the Awami League’s victory in the parliamentary election for the third time in a row.
He urged everyone including AL leaders and workers and cultural activities to remain united to resist the conspiracies of the communal forces.
AL Cultural Affairs Secretary Asim Kumar Ukil, Relief and Social Welfare Secretary Sujit Roy Nandi, Dhaka City South AL President Abul Hasnat and General Secretary Shahe Alam Murad, among others, were present on the occasion.
Later, noted singers and artistes performed in the cultural function. Singers Kiran Chandra Roy, Fahmida Nabi, Akhi Alamgir, Chisti Baul and Bappa Majumder, among others, performed in the function.
