DHAKA, June 25, 2019 (BSS) – A meeting of the “National Implementation Committee for the Celebration of the Birth Centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman” was held at the International Mother Language Institute (IMLI) here today to finalize the programme marking the year-long celebration.
National Professor Mohammad Rafiqul Islam presided over the meeting while Prime Minister’s former principal secretary and chief coordinator of the committee Dr Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury moderated it.
Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud, Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni, Textiles and Jute Minister Golam Dastagir Gazi, Science and Technology Minister Architect Yeafesh Osman, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam, State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain, State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid, State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Md Zakir Hossain and Deputy Minister for Education Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel and other members, including Information Secretary Abdul Malek, cultural personalities, journalists and heads of different organizations, among others, were present at the meeting.
They discussed different aspects of the programmes those will be taken for celebration of birth centenary of Bangabandhu.
