DHAKA, April 14, 2018 (BSS) – Awami League (AL) General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today urged all to remain alert so that no evil force could hatch conspiracy in the new year.
“Although the history of Bangalee nation is fulfilled with heroism, but there is also history of traitors. The traitors always try to snatch the Bangalee’s history of bravery,” he said while inaugurating a Mongol Shobhajatra at Bahadur Shah Park in the old city.
The City Awami League brought out the Mongol Shobhajatra welcoming the Pahela Baishakh of the Bangla new year-1425.
“An evil clique is still hatching conspiracy to erase the country’s history,” Quader said, urging all to resist those who are involved in hatching conspiracy.
Hailing enthusiasm of the youth took part in the Shobhajatra, the minister said, “We believe that they will take the country forward upholding the non- communal spirit”.
They will bring the victory for Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina defeating all communal forces in the next election, he added.
AL Presidium Member Md Abdur Razzak, Office Secretary Dr Abdus Sobhan Golap, General Secretaries of Dhaka City South and North units of AL Shahe Alam Murad and Sadek Khan took part in the Shobhajatra, among others.
