Senior journalist Zakaria Mukta passes away
DHAKA, June 8, 2019 (BSS) – Zakaria Mukta, news editor of private Television channel “Somoy TV”, died of a stroke at National Institute of Neurosciences and Hospital in the city this evening.
He breathed his last around 8.30 pm at the age of 52 during undergoing treatment, Somoy TV sources said.
He is survived by wife, a host of relatives and admirers.
According to the sources, Mukta had been suffering from heart related diseases for a long time.
