IGP joins Eid jamaat at Rajarbagh
DHAKA, June 5, 2019 (BSS) – Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr Mohammad Javed Patwary today joined the Eid-ul-Fitr jamaat at Rajarbagh Police Lines Ground here.
Chiefs of different police units, high ranking police officers, policemen and Muslim devotees also joined the Eid jamaat at 8:00 am, said an official release.
Among others, Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Asaduzzaman Miah, Additional IGP (Special Branch) Mir Shahidul Islam, Additional IGP Md Mainur Rahman Chowdhury and other police officials and Muslim devotees offered Eid prayers.
A special ‘munajat’ was offered for peace, welfare and prosperity of the whole mankind and the nation.
Later, Dr Mohammad Javed Patwary exchanged Eid greetings with the police officials and the common people.
