Speakers for creating libraries to build knowledge-based society
DHAKA, May 30, 2019 (BSS) – Speakers at a seminar today laid emphasis on establishing libraries in order to build knowledge-based society with creative people.
National Book Centre organized the seminar titled “Our Expectations to National Book Centre” at the CIRDAP auditorium in the capital with secretary of cultural affairs ministry Dr Abu Hena Mostafa Kamal in the chair.
They called upon the concern authority of the spread of the book centres across the country for the further development of the country.
The National Committee for the Nationwide Celebration of the Birth Centenary of Bangabandhu and the Birth Centenary Celebration National Implementation Committee member secretary Dr Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury gave the key-note speech to this end.
National Book Center Director Minar Monsur gave the welcome speech while Editor of the daily Kaler Kantho Imdadul Haq Milan, Poet Asad Mannan, President of Bangladesh Gyan O Srijonshil Prokashok Samity President Farid Ahmed and Vice President Shamol Pal also attended the seminer.
