PM made DUCSU’s lifetime member
DHAKA, May 30, 2019 (BSS) – Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been made as a lifetime member of Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU).
Besides, A taka 1.89 crore budget for the 2019-20 fiscal was also approved at the DUCSU executive meeting.
The decisions were taken at a DUCSU executive meeting, chaired by ex officio president of the DUCSU and DU Vice-Chancellor Prof Md Akhtaruzzaman this evening.
Besides, issues including introducing health insurance for the students, controlling mass transport movement inside campus and fixing the rickshaw fare were discussed in the meeting, DUCSU General Secretary Golam Rabbani confirmed BSS.
Elected 25 leaders including DUCSU Vice-President Nurul Haq and Assistant General Secretary Saddam Hussain also attended the meeting at DUCSU Bhaban on the campus.
