Mohammedan register 2-1 victory over BJMC in BPL
DHAKA, May 10, 2019 (BSS)- Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited came from
behind to register their second win in the second phase of Bangladesh Premier
League Football beating Team Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation (BJMC) by 2-1
goals held on Friday at Shaheed Bhulu Stadium in Noakhali.
With this victory, Mohammedan Sporting Club moved up 10th position with
nine points from 13 matches while bottom-ranked BJMC remained at their
previous credit of four points from the same number of outings.
In the day’s match, BJMC’s foreign recruit Otabek opened an account
scoring the first goal in the very first minute of the match while Mohammedan
fought back to restore the parity their foreign recruit Uryu Nagata netted a
goal in the 21st minute.
Soulemane sealed the victory scoring the second for Mohammedan in the
61st minute of the match.
