Mild heat wave sweeps over Rangamati, Cox’s Bazar

DHAKA, April 23, 2019 (BSS) – Weather may remain dry with temporary partly
cloudy sky elsewhere over the country as mild heat wave is sweeping over the
regions of Rangamati and Cox’s Bazar and it may spread to some places over
the country in the next 24 hours as of 9 am tomorrow.

Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to
occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Sylhet and
Khulna divisions during the time, said a Met office bulletin here this
morning.

Day temperature may rise by (1-2) degrees Celsius and night temperature may
rise slightly over the country, it said.

The highest temperature on Monday was recorded 37.6 degrees Celsius at
Teknaf in Chattogram division while the lowest temperature today was recorded
19 degrees Celsius at Srimangal in Sylhet division.

Today’s sunset in the capital will be at 6.23 pm and tomorrow’s sunrise
will be at 5.30 am.
