Boishakhi TV reporter killed in Nepal plane crash

 DHAKA, March 13, 2018 (BSS) – Ahmed Faisal, a staff reporter of private television channel Boishakhi TV, has died in the plane crash of US-Bangla Airlines at Kathmandu in Nepal.

Faisal, who worked in the Prime Minister’s beat, was one of the ill-fated passengers of the US-Bangla Airlines flight that crashed in Kathmandu’s Tribvubhan International Airport on Monday afternoon.

“Bangladesh Embassy in Nepal and a Boishakhi TV delegation now in Kathmandu have confirmed the death of Faisal,” Chief News Editor of the TV channel Saiful Islam said.

Boishakhi family has offered deep condolence to the demise of Faisal, who hailed from Damudya upazila of Shariatpur district.

Nearly 50 people were killed as the US-Bangla Airlines aircraft crashed and burst into flames while landing at Trivubhan International Airport yesterday.
