Two held with 3,640 yaba tablets in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Feb 15, 2019 (BSS)- Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two alleged illegal drug peddlers with 3,640 yaba tablets from Ranihati Bazar area under Shibganj upazila in the district today.
The arrested were identified as Md. Aminul Islam Bachu, 30, of Kamlakantapur village under Shibganj upazila and Rafiqul Islam, 42, of Ghorapakhia village under sadar upazila in Chapainawabganj district.
RAB said, being informed, an operation team of RAB-5 from Natore camp raided the aforesaid area around 3.15pm and arrested the duo with the yaba tablets.
Later, the arrested persons were handed over to the Shibganj thana police with a case.
