DNCC conducts eviction drive in Mirpur
DHAKA, Feb 13, 2019 (BSS) – Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) today conducted a drive to evict illegal structures in the city.
A mobile court, led by DNCC executive magistrate Sajid Anwar, conducted the drive in Mirpur-10 area and fined ‘Banalata Sweets’ Tk 50,000 and ‘Mezban Restaurant’ Tk 50,000 for occupying footpaths.
The DNCC executive magistrate said more than 400 illegal structures were demolished during the drive. The drive will continue to evict illegal structures in the city, he said.
DNCC acting mayor Jamal Mostafa was present during the drive.
