Mayor cup juvenile football tournament -2019 begins tomorrow
KHULNA, Jan 20, 2019 (BSS) -The mayor cup juvenile football tournament-2019
will be held tomorrow at Khulna Zila School Maidan(Ground) in the city.
Patronized by UNICEF Bangladesh in association with Khulna District
Football Association, Khulna City Corporation (KCC) is organizing the
tournament.
Mayor of KCC Talukder Abdul Khaleque is expected to inaugurate the football
tournament while deputy commissioner Md Helal Hossain, Chief of Field Office
of Khulna UNICEF Md Kafil Uddin, Panel Mayor-2 and 3 Ali Akbor Tipu and
Memory Sufia Rahman Shunu and general secretary of Khulna District Sports
Association (KDSA) Kazi Shamim Ahsan will attend the programme as special
guests.
To make the tournament a success, a press conference was held in Shaheed
Altaf Auditorium at City Corporation. President of Khulna District Football
Association advocate Md. Saiful Islam, Chief Executive Officer of KCC Palash
Kanti Bala, among others, were present.
KCC Mayor Khaleque said, a total of 10 juvenile teams of different primary
schools under 10 women reserved seat area of KCC will attend the tournament.
