FM condoles death of Ashrafunnessa
DHAKA, Jan 19, 2019 (BSS) – Foreign Minister Dr Ak Abdul Momen has expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Begum Ashrafunnessa, former President of Bangladesh Women Awami League and wife of valiant freedom fighter late Dr Musharraf.
In a message of condolence on Friday, the foreign minister recollected his personal association with Ashrafunnessa and stated she was an ideologically committed person.
He also prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
Ashrafunnesa, ex-parliament member and a valiant freedom fighter, died of kidney ailments at a city hospital yesterday at the age of 74.
