FBUTA urges people to vote for Hasina
DHAKA, Dec 27, 2018 (BSS) – Leaders of the Federation of Bangladesh
University Teachers’ Association (FBUTA) today urged country’s people to cast
their votes for Sheikh Hasina in the parliamentary election on Sunday for the
continuation of peace and development.
FBUTA, a platform of the teachers’ associations of the public
universities, in a statement said, “We do not want that the continuation of
peace, harmony, development and prosperity will be thwarted. So, we call upon
the people to vote for the boat symbol for the sake of the continuation of
development.”
The statement signed by Dhaka University Teachers’ Association General
Secretary Prof Shibli Rubaiyat Ul Islam on behalf of the elected leaders of
the teachers’ associations.
They also hoped that the national poll would be a peaceful one.
