5.8-magnitude quake hits 261 km SW of Riverton

NEW YORK, Nov. 25, 2018 (BSS/Xinhua) – An earthquake with a magnitude of
5.8 jolted 261 km southwest of Riverton, New Zealand, at 23:42:39 GMT on
Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at
47.9307 degrees south latitude and 165.46 degrees east longitude.
