61pc pass in DU Gha unit admission test
DHAKA, Nov 19, 2018 (BSS) – The admission test result of Dhaka University(DU) ‘Gha’ unit for 2018-19 academic session was published today with 61.1 percent pass.
DU authorities retook the test for admission to first-year honours programmes on Friday.
A total of 16,181 students among the 18,463 admission seekers, who obtained pass marks in the previous test held on October 12, appeared in the retake examination against 1,615 seats, said a DU press release.
The results are available on the university website www.admission.eis.du.ac.bd or the students can get the results using short message service (SMS) on any mobile operator.
For SMS notification of the result, the aspirants will have to type DU GHA roll number and send it to 16321.
Earlier on October 23, the university authorities at an emergency meeting took the decision of retaking the test following a students’ protest.
The DU authorities published the previous results of “Gha” unit entry test on October 16 where around 26.21 percent admission seekers obtained pass marks among 70,440 candidates who had taken part in the examination.
