256 promoted to deputy secretaries
DHAKA, Oct 25, 2018 (BSS)- The government has promoted 256 senior assistant secretaries and equivalent officers to the rank of deputy secretary.
The public administration ministry issued the order last night, said a handout today.
Of the promoted officials, 204 officials are BSC administration cadre while 69 others cadre.
Earlier on February 20, 424 officials were promoted to deputy secretaries.
Following the latest promotions, the total number of deputy secretaries reached 1,876.
