Bangladesh to be developed country if AL govt continues: Muhith

SYLHET Oct 18, 2018 (BSS) – Finance Minister AMA Muhith today expressed his farm belief that Bangladesh would become a developed country before 2041, if the Awami League (AL) government continues in office.

“Bangladesh has turned into a middle income country under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The country’s development will continue, if the AL government continues in office,” he said, speaking as the chief guest at the inauguration session of the Jalalabad Gas T&T System Limited CBA in the district.

The fianc, minister said Bangladesh is moving forward in all socio economic indices as the people of the country is very much skilled in all sectors, including ready-made garments.

“The economy of the country has developed more than before. We are now in the doorstep of achieving ‘Vision-2021,” he added.

Muhith urged the people to reelect the Awami League for continuing the development.

Among others, General Secretary of the Sylhet City Awami League Asad Uddin Ahmed and Senior Vice President of the Sylhet District Awami League Asfak Ahmed were present on the occasion.

Jalabad Gas T&T CBA President Muruli Shing presided over the meeting.
