DHAKA, Dec 17, 2017 (BSS) – Food Minister Qamrul Islam yesterday said the country needs Awami League led by Sheikh Hasina to form government again to keep the development works going.
“Bangladesh under the firm leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is now running on the highway of development. Country will become a middle income country by 2021 and developed country 2041. Now we have no time to look back,” Qamrul said.
The minister came up with the observations while addressing Victory Day rally organized by Keraniganj Upazila Parishad yesterday morning.
Presided over by Keraniganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer Shahe Elid Mainul Amin, the rally was addressed by upazilla chairman Shahin Ahmed, upazilla muktijoddha commander Md Shahjahan and Eusuf Alia Chowdhury Selim, among others.
All the Freedom Fighters and families of Liberation War martyrs were given reception at the programme.
