Bangladesh face Japan in AFC U-16 Women's soccer

DHAKA, Sept 13, 2017 (BSS)- Bangladesh women's Under-16 football team will play their second group match against strong Japan in AFC U-16 Women's Championship scheduled to be held tomorrow (Thursday) at the Institute of Physical Education Chonburi Campus Stadium, Thailand.

The match kicks off at 5 pm (local time).

The Bangladesh team head coach Choton in a pre- match press conference said his girls would try to put their best effort in the match and if the players can play to their true potentials then they can hope of a good result against Japan team, according to a message received here from Bangladesh Football Federation this afternoon..

He said all players are physically well and sound having no any injury problem in the team.

Team captain Krishna Rani Sarker said they did lot of mistakes in their opening match. But this time against Japan they would try not to repeat those and would try to put up their best performance and hope for a better result.

Earlier, on Monday, Bangladesh started their tournament campaign with a dismal performance as they suffered 0-9 goal defeat against defending champions DPR Korea in their group opening match.
